Confinement Recipe 01 : - Chinese fried rice with ginger

Mothers can also enjoy a healthier version of fried rice in the comfort of their own homes! Ginger is used in this dish and it is known for purging “wind” so that the body will not be “cold.” Ginger can also promote blood circulation, which helps to “warm up” one’s weak body after delivery. French beans and carrots, which are rich in dietary fibre and beta-carotenes, will be added in this simple fried rice dish for more colour and variety.

Ingredients:
    200g cooked rice
    50g shredded carrot
    50g coarsely chopped French beans
    80g old shredded ginger
    ½ tsp of chopped garlic
    2 eggs beaten lightly
    2 tbsp sesame oil
    ½ tsp light soy sauce
